XL one-of-a kind machine integrated an automated coil feeding system into an assembly line. Three laminated coils of dissimilar materials are guided into a 300 ton heating press, sent out to be sheared on the fly to various lengths, and conveyed to a curing oven.

This XL machine replaced labor-intensive, manual assembly and saved the company untold amounts of money. This engineered guiding, material handling, and conveying system was so successful that a second press was added-cutting the process time from one minute to just 10 seconds apart.
